Our Town Hall is an imposing stone, grade 11 listed building, built in 1862 with its wooden clock tower keeping time for the community of Bellingham.

It is a registered charity, run by the Management Committee, all volunteers, to ensure the Hall is well maintained and in good order, arranging all repairs externally and internally, structural or otherwise, redecoration when required, tending the well stocked garden and producing a beautiful display year after year.

Fund raising events are organised to ensure sufficient funds to carry out the necessary maintenance tasks.

Friends of the Bellingham Town Hall, enlists the help of the community with generating funds towards any refurbishment and upkeep. There is an annual subscription fee to enter into a monthly prize draw . We have gained Hallmark Status one for the third time, a three year quality standard scheme for village halls – we are very proud to have this award.

The Hall is used for public consultations, church and community fundraising events, plays by the local Dramatic Society, social events and private parties.
There are disabled access and a hearing loop system.
