Our Town Hall is an imposing stone, grade II listed building, built in 1862 with its wooden clock tower keeping time for the Bellingham Community.

It is a registered charity, run by the Management Committee (all volunteers), to ensure the Hall is well maintained and in good order, arranging all repairs externally and internally; structural or otherwise, redecoration when required, and tending the well stocked garden and producing beautiful displays every year

Fundraising events are organised to ensure sufficient funds to carry out the necessary maintenance tasks.

Friends of the Bellingham Town Hall enlists the help of the community with generating funds towards any refurbishment and upkeep. There is an annual subscription fee to enter into a monthly prize draw. This is open to anyone aged 18 or over. If you fancy your chances, knowing that the money goes towards keeping the hall maintained, please complete the entry form found on the home page.

We have gained Hallmark Status, one for the fifth time, a three year quality standard scheme for village halls – an award we are very proud to hold.

If you wish to become involved and join our team, please get in touch, new members are always welcome.
